About Gina

Hi — my name is Gina Wysor, and I operate a medical billing company out of my home, Advanced Reimbursement Solutions. My experiences starting and running that business are what prompted my husband and me to build this site.

I got started in medical billing working for a billing company owned by a friend. That taught me a great deal — not only about billing and coding, but about the business end of things, which is the part nobody warns you about.

Why I built this site

Like most people who start a business, what I wanted was the freedom to earn a good income from home and still be there when my boys got off the bus.

I have no formal education past high school, and I was still able to build a business from home that contributes to our family income. I don't say that to brag. I say it because there is nothing special about me, and the questions I could not get answered when I started are the same ones people write in with today. This site is my attempt to answer them.

Thanks to my husband

Thanks to my husband Conrad for helping me with the business and with this site. Running a business while keeping up with children makes it hard to find time for everything.

Conrad is an engineer, with bachelor's degrees in mechanical and electrical engineering and a master's in electrical engineering from the University of Tennessee. He has been a great help with the computer and software side of the business, and he built this website with me.
