Advertising and affiliate disclosure
Some of the links on this site earn us money. This page says exactly which ones and how, because you are entitled to know that before you click, and because the US Federal Trade Commission requires it.
The short version
If you buy something after following certain links from this site, we may receive a commission from the seller. It never costs you more. The price you pay is the same as it would be if you had gone to the seller directly.
Where this applies
| Programme | What it covers | How we are paid |
|---|---|---|
| Software Advice | Links and enquiry forms on the practice management and EMR software pages | A referral fee when a reader requests information |
| ClickBank | A small number of links to third-party training products | A commission on the sale |
Links to books on Amazon carry no affiliate tag: we earn nothing from them, and they are there only because the books are useful.
Our own course
Medical Billing Fundamentals is our own product, not an affiliate link. When you buy it, you are buying from us through Thinkific. We say so plainly wherever it is mentioned rather than presenting it as a neutral recommendation, because it is not one.
How this affects what we write
It does not decide what we recommend. The reference pages on this site were written to answer questions readers actually sent in, and they say when a product is not worth buying as readily as when it is. Where we have not used something ourselves, we say so.
We are not paid by any certification body, insurer, clearinghouse or software vendor to write about them, and no company has editorial input into this site.
Advertising
This site currently carries no advertising and no ad network. If that changes, this page and the privacy policy will be updated before any advertising appears.
Questions
If you want to know whether a specific link earns us anything, ask — info@all-things-medical-billing.com. We will tell you.
